Analytics

We count visits with GoatCounter, self-hosted at ct.tinysystems.io. It records the page, the referrer, browser family and country. It does not use cookies and does not store personal data or IP addresses.

Under the UK Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 this kind of aggregated, ad-free analytics needs a notice and an easy opt-out rather than a consent banner, which is why you saw a small note instead of a wall. Your choice is recorded (as a salted hash, no identity) in a Tickbox audit log so we can prove we honored it.

The star counter

The masthead fetches the repo's star count from api.github.com in your browser. GitHub sees that request; we see nothing.
